But Nokia has launched officially their first Android Smartphone called Nokia 6 in China. Now the Smartphone has been launched globally including India. The smartphone features 5.5 Inch 1920×1080 FHD screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage with microSD support and the Smartphone has Android Nougat OS.

Nokia 6 is mainly targeted for mid-range market; priced at 245 USD. The phone will use Snapdragon 430 chipsets. And also feature 16 MegaPixel primary camera and 3000 mah battery. The body of this Android phone is made up of aluminium; not a very groundbreaking design though for 245 USD it’s OK. Though Nokia paired up with Dolby to use their sound drivers on Nokia 6, which is interesting.

Great News, Nokia 6 to be launched globally including India and will be available for sale from the second quarter of 2017. The phone is currently available in China on JD.COM. It has been priced at 1699 CNY. Means in Indian Rupees it equals to Rs 16,740. The price of Arte Black special edition with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which was announced at the MWC 2017 event is EUR 299
(Rs 21,000 approx) while the other editions (Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver, Copper) will be sold at EUR 229 (Rs 16,000 approx).
